I’m Caryn (see picture on your right) and I take my 20+ years of experience in the corporate, higher education and nonprofit sectors to help businesses, universities, nonprofits and organizations tell their stories.

During my first career in corporate public relations (isn’t it great that we can have multiple careers?), I found that in addition to my love of writing, I was most energized when working with and helping develop our interns. I followed my interest in working with college students to a new career in higher education. I have worked as a career counselor and program manager for both private and public universities. I currently teach business communications and professional development to undergraduates, where I help them achieve success through improved communications skills and strengthened personal brands.

But the common thread through all of my career stops, is my love of storytelling and writing. My passion is digging below the surface to bring forward the deeper stories we all hold – whether that is for a publication, business, nonprofit or educational institution. My specialty is both brief and in-depth profiles of the leaders and rising stars who are creating change in their organizations and in our communities.
